Energy Fitness launches company wide initiatives

EFP have always run a variety of weight and lifestyle management courses throughout their sites, however we have just launched the latest in a long line of successful courses, this one is aptly entitled “Right Track”, aiming to get people in shape for summer. This is the first initiative that has been truly company wide as all of the 37 Energy Fitness managed clubs across the UK will be introducing this course in 2004.

Professional design and printing companies have been used for the marketing, which has then been distributed to all sites along with the required EFP software for running the course which will be rolled out later this year.

Clients on the course will receive individual attention and advice throughout the course and will work with the gym staff to develop training plans and nutritional improvements for their life that will help to get them moving in the right direction for long term weight control and improving their overall health.

This course is more than just a fad diet with exercise included, but it is a personal plan for the members to continue with in their future, making small adjustments to their lifestyle that are simple and permanent.

“The company meets and develops”

Energy Fitness held its first all staff communications meeting in March. The meeting was held at the Jarvis Hotel in Farnham. The key aim of the day was to get all staff to meet each other, as the sites are spread out across all of the UK, including Ireland & Scotland. During the meeting staff were given specific EFP training on communications skills and methods as well as a company background and history. There was also a guest speaker (Jim Steele) who delivered a presentation on self motivation and working as a team.
Energy Fitness recognised some of the performances of the key clubs and members of staff over the past year and awarded the “Club of the Year” Award – this year being a joint award going to Qinetiq Malvern – for improvements from 2002 to 2003 and Sun Microsystems for initiatives and services delivered throughout the year.

The day was finished off with a relaxed social aspect and some team building and communication exercises.
