LifeStyles, Uxbridge College Energy Fitness Professionals (EFP) secured another high profiled gym management contract 18 months ago. Uxbridge College has appointed Energy Fitness Professionals to develop and manage their new onsite Health & Fitness Centre, called Lifestyles Health & Fitness Studios. One of the main objectives is to turn the Health Club around from its previous poor performance to becoming profitable and maximising its potential with tailored services to an expanded membership base. We are very pleased to say that we have hit our targets under the timeline expected. The club covers approximately 10,000sq ft with the gymnasium and the studio taking up most of the space. Lifestyles Health & Fitness Studios features a welcoming large reception area, and a gymnasium which consists of state of the art gym equipment with 28 pieces of Cardio-vascular, 10 pieces of resistance equipment and 3 AB-trainers. Freeweights are provided along with Fit balls, medicine balls and resistance tubing. There is also a consultation room for sports massage and fitness testing services. A fully equipped aerobic studio accompanies the gym, offering a wide range of classes such as Street Aerobics, TKO, Boxercise, Martial Arts, Yoga etc. The club has separate male, female and disabled changing rooms accompanied by a sauna, accessible from the changing area. In addition to the Health Club, Energy Fitness Professionals also run the umbrella of services available; the solarium as well as a large beauty therapy area available with three treatment rooms offering a wide range of services such as Aromatherapy and Wax treatments. Lifestyles' facilities also include a restaurant, a meeting and conference facility which is located in the club but run by Uxbridge College in a student training capacity. There are approx. 7000 people onsite at the Uxbridge College and Hayes Campus who are eligible for gym membership.
