corporate wellbeing centre ENERGY FITNESS PROFESSIONALS TRAIN THE TREASURY!

Energy Fitness Professionals have been awarded the contract for the management of the new Fitness Centre for the HM Treasury in London. This employee fitness centre will be located in the Treasury’s new building in the heart of Westminster. In addition to this state of the art Fitness Centre, Treasury staff will have access to a wide range of sports and leisure services including a snooker room, studio and dedicated martial arts and yoga room. The building has also catered for the high usage expected and has included spacious changing facilities with 10 male and female showers in each.

Robert Radford (Director EFP) is very excited about the new facilities and says,

“We are extremely happy to have been awarded this prestigious contract. EFP manage six Government Departments in Central London and we have developed a fantastic relationship with our civil service clients. The HM Treasury facilities are unique in that they are large and accommodating, something that is proving more difficult with the value placed on space in Central London. The Treasury staff will not only be able to experience exceptional fitness services, but they will also have access to a wide range of sporting, wellbeing and social services.”

This fantastic new facility opened its doors from August 2002. The building itself is located in the heart of Westminster and totals approximately one million square feet. The building has undergone major refurbishment (£112m) and is within the top 7% of listed buildings within the country. Part of the refurbishment involved removing over 7.5 miles of walls and the creation of the Churchill Museum; which included the handing over of Churchill’s accommodation and the Cabinet War Rooms (which were used to oversee World War II operations). The building is an exciting part of London's history and now offers it's staff a range of exciting employee services.
